Coroner: Victim in Fatal Accident Was From Menifee

A woman who died in a traffic accident in Winchester Monday morning has been identified as a resident of the Sun City community of Menifee, according to the County Coroner's Office.

Lily Kirchner, 45, was the driver of a vehicle that collided head-on with an SUV near the intersection of Winchester Road and Stowe Road. She was wearing a seat belt and was not ejected from the vehicle, according to the coroner's report.

A report from the Riverside County Fire Department said that five other people were injured in the collision, which took place about 8 a.m. Four people were transported for treatment, two with moderate injuries and two with minor injuries.

No other details were released.
