Body of Deceased Male Found in Menifee Neighborhood

The Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the body of a deceased male was located this morning near the intersection of Park Avenue and Naravilla, just east of Bradley Road and north of Newport Road in Menifee. The age and identity of the male are unknown at this time.

According to Deputy Mike Vasquez, officers responded about 10 a.m. to the report of a male possibly in medical distress. By the time officers arrived, the male was deceased. The Coroner's Office now has possession of the body. Cause of death is under investigation, Vasquez said.

According to the preliminary report, the incident took place near a homeless encampment and officers believe the man might have been homeless. There is no other information available at this time.
