Ballfields Under Construction at Site of The Lakes Park

The backstop and foul poles are up and the surface has been graded for the baseball and softball fields that will be a major part of The Lakes Park, a 17-acre sports park being built by Lennar Homes on Holland Road between Menifee Road and Southshore Drive.

This park is part of the master plan for Lennar, which includes The Lakes community to the north. What was once a vacant field now is being designed as a park that will be open to the public. No opening date has been set.

The park will include three ballfields (two lighted), a lighted soccer field, basketball courts, playground areas, picnic areas, walking trails and restrooms.
