Paloma Boys, Heritage Girls on Road in Hoops Playoffs

The Paloma Valley High School boys team and Heritage High girls team qualified for the CIF Southern Section basketball playoffs, which begin this week.

In match-ups announced today by the CIF-SS office, Paloma Valley (17-9) will play at Walnut (22-5) in a first-round game of the Division 1A playoffs Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Wildcats finished 7-3 in Sunbelt League play, a vast improvement over last season.

In girls basketball, Heritage (16-8) will open the Division 1A playoffs at Valley View High of Moreno Valley Thursday night.
