Menifee's Own Private Hot Air Balloon Festival

Every once in a while, you can see not one, not two, but several hot air balloons in the skies over Menifee as they float by from their starting point near Perris. Menifee's open fields occasionally provide a landing place for these balloons as well.

Beth Heyden found such a group of balloons over a field alongside Briggs Road the other day, and she shared the photo with us. Beth is now entered in our "Menifee in Pictures" photo contest.
