Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Feb. 10

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select athletes based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High School Athletes of the Week:

Goalkeeper Alyssa Newsom helped the girls soccer team to its 12th shutout of the season in a scoreless tie with Paloma Valley Feb. 5.

Anastacia Moreno has a had a great season for the wrestling team and was one match away from advancing to the Girls CIF championships.

Senior forward David Barragan has been a standout for the boys soccer team all season.
