Motorist Safety Enforcement Planned in Menifee Jan. 6

The Menifee Police Department will conduct a Motorist Safety Enforcement operation on Wednesday, according to a news release.

Extra officers will be on patrol in areas where traffic collisions frequently occur. They will be looking for those operating vehicles under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or those violating traffic rules.

Funding for the program is provided to the Menifee Police Department by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
