A Menifee man is in critical condition in a local hospital today after suffering major injuries in a single-vehicle roller crash Wednesday night in Canyon Lake, authorities said.
Canyon Lake Police responded at 9:45 p.m. to the scene of the accident in the 30500 block of Railroad Canyon Road. Driving under the influence of alcohol appears to be a factor in the collision, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.
The identity of the 25-year-old man has not been released. The eastbound and westbound lanes of Railroad Canyon MRoad between Goetz Road and Sorrel Road were temporarily closed during the investigation.
Anyone with information on this investigation is encouraged to call Deputy Grimm at the Perris Sheriff’s Station, 951-210-1000.
In the last three days, two people have died and one has been critically injured in single-vehicle traffic accidents involving Menifee residents or in areas in or near Menifee.
