Fire did an estimated $300,000 damage to a mobile home in Homeland on Monday.

A structure fire in the Homeland community near Menifee Monday night caused an estimated $300,000 damage and displaced two adults, according to Riverside County Fire Department officials.

The blaze was reported at 5:25 p.m. Monday in the 25000 block of Avenida Ramada. Firefighters arriving on the scene reported a double-wide mobile home that was three-quarters engulfed in flames. The fire was soon contained.

The displaced adults declined assistance from the Red Cross, according to the fire department.
