Police Investigate Report of Shots Fired; No Injuries

Riverside County Sheriff's deputies continue to investigate the source of a report of shots fired at or near a business in Menifee today, although no injuries have been reported and there is no confirmation of shots actually fired at this time, authorities said.

Officers were responding to the report of a suspicious person in the 28000 block of Bradley Road when they also received a report of shots fired at a business in that area. A suspect vehicle was detained in the area, said Deputy Armando Munoz, but there is no report of arrests made at this time.

More details on the investigation may be available on Thursday, Munoz said. He did not have specifics on the business involved. That block in the Sun City community of Menifee is the same block where a fatal shooting occurred at a McDonald's restaurant on Oct. 10.
