Members of the Interact Club and PLUS program at Paloma Valley High School were among the volunteers Saturday at the annual Santa's Workshop, held at Quail Valley Elementary School.

Children from local needy families received free gifts and took part in craft making at the event, which featured an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus. The students served as "elves" and passed out presents to the children. Toys were collected by members of Cal Fire, which receives them in collection bins.

The Interact Club, which includes members of the boys tennis team at Paloma Valley, volunteers at many local events.
