Hunter, Paquet Named Paloma Valley Athletes of Month

Water polo player Blake Hunter and golfer Brianna Paquet were named Menifee 24/7 Athletes of the Month for October, representing Paloma Valley High School.

Hunter excelled in his first year of water polo for the Wildcats, who just started their program last year. The senior provided leadership from his 2-meter defense position.

Paquet, also a senior, shot her lowest score of all four years on the golf team recently with a 41 at the team's home course, Menifee Lakes. She has been playing golf since the age of 7. Next year, she hopes to attend a culinary school.
