Heritage Football Team Set for Semifinals Tonight

Undefeated and top-seeded Heritage High School will try to earn a trip to the CIF Southern Section football finals when the Patriots play at El Cajon tonight in the Inland Division semifinals.

Heritage improved its record to 12-0 with a 31-10 victory over Yucaipa last week. Cajon (11-1) advanced with a 24-13 win over San Jacinto. The winner will face the winner of the Rancho Verde - Citrus Hill game in the championship round Dec. 4.

Heritage features a potent offensive featuring quarterback Brett Virgil, running back Jalen Glover, all-purpose back Aleva Hifo and wide receiver CJ Newman.

The game begins at 7 p.m. Menifee 24/7 will provide score updates and a complete game report.
