Aldi Accepting Applications for Local Warehouse Jobs

The Aldi grocery chain will accept applications for 100 warehouse jobs at its Moreno Valley Distribution Center this weekend, Nov. 13-15, company officials announced in a news release.

Aldi plans to open approximately 25 grocery stores in Southern California between March and July 2016. The chain already operates nearly 1,500 stories in 32 states and is beginning to move into California.

An Aldi store is among the businesses planned for the new Town Center Marketplace being built on the southwest corner of Newport Road and Haun Road. These jobs are for the warehouse, however.

Job openings are for selectors, who build pallets from warehouse inventory to be sent to stores; and receivers, who place inbound product in the proper location in the warehouse.

Job candidates are invited to visit the regional headquarters and distribution center to receive an application for employment and an appointment time to return for an initial interview. Applications are available from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday; and 8-11 a.m. on Sunday. The address is 12661 Aldi Place in Moreno Valley (the intersection of Eucalyptus Avenue and Redlands Boulevard.
