Police Searching for Missing At-Risk Menifee Man

Police are searching for a 61-year-old at-risk Menifee man who was reported missing from his home on Monday.

According to a Sheriff's Department news release, Joseph Cotton is confined to a wheelchair. He was last seen at his residence by a family member about 7:40 a.m. Monday in the 26000 block of Wheat Street in Menifee.

Cotton is a white male about 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue zip-up hooldie, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black baseball cap.

Personnel from the Menifee Police Department and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department conducted an extensive search throughout the night and the search continued on Monday.
