Police are searching for a 61-year-old at-risk Menifee man who was reported missing from his home on Monday.
According to a Sheriff's Department news release, Joseph Cotton is confined to a wheelchair. He was last seen at his residence by a family member about 7:40 a.m. Monday in the 26000 block of Wheat Street in Menifee.
Cotton is a white male about 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue zip-up hooldie, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a black baseball cap.
Personnel from the Menifee Police Department and the Riverside County Sheriff's Department conducted an extensive search throughout the night and the search continued on Monday. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cotton is encouraged to call Investigator Mike Heath or the Perris Police Department at 951-210-1000.
