Hifo, Rivas Named Heritage High Athletes of Month

Football player Aleva Hifo and tennis player Hannah Rivas have been named Menifee 24/7 Athletes of the Month for September from Heritage High School.

Hifo is a versatile senior who is used at running back, wide receiver and sometimes other positions for the Patriots, who are 5-0 heading into Friday night's league opener at Elsinore. He has rushed for 216 yards and 5 touchdowns has caught 9 passes for 248 yards and 4 TDs.

Hifo is committed to BYU next season.

Rivas is also a senior and is hoping to attend the University of Texas to study nursing next year. She is the No. 1 singles play for the Patriots' girls tennis team.
