Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High School Athletes of the Week:
Running back Jalen Glover rushed for over 140 yards and scored three touchdowns in the football team's 49-14 win over Perris last Friday.
Danny Ibarra placed fourth overall at the Perris Cross Country Challenge. Kalina Heimuli of the Patriots girls team placed 12th in the same invitational.
Sariah Odom was selected for her consistent performances with the girls golf team.
Alexcis Morris was honored for her performance with the girls volleyball team.
