Arraignment for Harwood Continued to Nov. 5

The arraignment of a woman charged with the murder of a man inside a Menifee McDonald's restaurant was continued to Nov. 5, a spokesman for the District Attorney's Office said today.

Amanda Harwood, 35, was due in Riverside Superior Court to enter a plea in the shooting death of Joseph Henning, 39, inside the McDonald's on Bradley Road in the Sun City community of Menifee last Friday. According to friends who have set up a gofundme page, Henning was the father of three children -- one with Harwood. The two adults were reportedly meeting at McDonald's for a supervised visit of the child when Harwood shot Henning, who died at the scene.

Harwood remains in custody on $1 million bail. Her case has been moved to Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta for the No. 5 hearing, when she is expected to enter a plea.
