Resident Urges Awareness of Childhood Cancer Month

We received this message from a Menifee resident and are sharing it with you to raise awareness of childhood cancer and the need for support of young people:

Hello, my name is Alexandra Monteleone and my son Dominick has just beat cancer. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the color is gold. I know three kids that live in Menifee that are in remission, or still undergoing treatment. Awareness is key and it would be so great to see people supporting gold. Anything from gold bows on trees, gold shirts, anything. These kids could use the support of their hometown and spread awareness at the same time.
