Nine Arrested in Menifee for DUI Court Violations

Menifee Police Department officers arrested nine individuals after serving 32 arrest warrants for DUI court violations on Sept. 5, the department announced today.

Officers attempted to serve 78 arrest warrants in several neighborhoods. Those arrested either failed to show up for a court date or violated terms of their probation in an outstanding DUI case, according to authorities. Some had multiple arrest warrants. The nine offenders were booked into the Southwest Detention Center.

Prior to the warrant sweep, over 600 letters were sent out to subjects with outstanding arrest warrants. Of those, 120 individuals responded to the Perris Sheriff's Station and were cited and released with a new court date.
