Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Sept. 15

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High School Athletes of the Week:

Senior wide receiver and defensive back Aleva Hifo ran 80 yards for a touchdown and contributed on both offense and defense in the Patriots' 34-16 win over La Quinta on Sept. 10.

Tennis player Baylee Arredondo is undefeated this season.

Chris Briseno took third place overall in the sophomore race at the Colton Swarm Invitational for the boys cross country team.

Sara Pearson of the girls cross country team took eighth place overall in her race at the Colton Swarm Invitational.
