Menifee 24/7 Offers Readers 'Helping Others' Section

Today Menifee 24/7 introduces a new section of its website designed to share news from our readers about ways to help others.

We often receive emails, private messages or posts to our Facebook page regarding requests to help families or individuals in need. These may include health concerns, job loss or other issues. We don't post these as separate stories but feel there should be a dedicated space on our site where readers can view items such as these.

A new section of our website titled "Helping Others" can now be found on www.menifee247.com. This section will be updated regularly with items we post. Those items will be included in our daily subscription email and a link to the section will be posted regularly on our Facebook page.

Readers desiring to submit items for this section should email them to menifee247info@gmail.com with the subject line Helping Others. We will evaluate each submission to make sure it is legitimate and appropriate for posting. Submissions may include a link to a gofundme page or simply information about the situation with contact information. We will no longer accept submissions like this directly to our Facebook page.

Announcements promoting fundraisers for school groups, clubs and the like will continue to be published under Community News or the appropriate section of our website. But if you have news about how others can help someone in need, send us an email and we'll do our best to spread the word.

You may find the Helping Others section of our website by scrolling down the home page or by clicking the Helping Others tab at the top of the page. And again, a link to this section will be posted regularly on our Facebook page as it is updated.
