United Church of Christ Offers Food, Clothing Assistance

Menifee United Church of Christ has opened a food pantry and clothing closet for people in need, Senior Minister Bill Freeman announced this week.

"Even though the economy is improving somewhat, there are still plenty of people who need help," Freeman said. "So we offer non-perishable food items and gently used, clean clothing to folks in Menifee."

Assistance is available for seniors on a fixed income, young workers who can’t get by on the current minimum wage, or people between jobs. Menifee UCC is located at 26701 McCall Blvd.
