For the second time in just over a week, police have arrested suspects in crimes including theft of mail from local communities.
Detectives from the Temecula and Lake Elsinore police departments arrested two people on Tuesday on suspicion of multiple counts of burglary, mail theft and fraudulent use of credit cards, authorities said today.
Jessica Bock, 28, and Kevin Hirsch, 38, of Temecula have been under investigation regarding numerous crimes over the last several months. When arrested on Tuesday, they were found in possession of stolen property and mail stolen from other jurisdictions. Police said it is anticipated that detectives will locate additional criminal cases attributed to these suspects.
Bock was arrested by detectives from the Temecula Police Department and charged with burglary in May, police said. Hirsch was being sought in connection with the same case. At the time of the current arrest, Bock was out on bail.
Bock and Hirsch were charged with multiple felonies and booked into the Southwest Detention Center. Their bail has been set at $250,000.
No details were provided about the locations mail was stolen from. Several incidents of mail theft have also been reported in Menifee in the last few months. On June 10, Temecula police announced the arrest of three suspects involved in mail theft.
Anyone with information on mail theft in the area should call the Menifee Police Department at 951-210-1000.
