Edgerton's daughter Ally made the announcement on her Facebook page.
"Anyone that has had their life touched or affected by him is welcome to attend, as are friends who wish to support the family," she wrote in making the announcement.
Edgerton, 81, died of lung disease on May 26. He was Menifee's first mayor and had served on the Menifee City Council since the city's incorporation in 2008. Prior to that, he served for 17 years on the Long Beach City Council.
