Johnson, Bowler, Thomas Are Heritage Athletes of Month

The boys tennis doubles team of Andrew Johnson and Jack Bowler and swimmer Katelyn Thomas were named Menifee 24/7 Athletes of the Month from Heritage High School, sponsored by RE/MAX Diamond Realty.

Johnson and Bowler worked well together this season for the Patriots, who advanced to the CIF team finals. The team won all three of its doubles sets against Warren in the championship match, which was tied in sets, 9-9. Warren was declared the team champion based on total games won.

Thomas dominated in swimming all season. She placed fourth in the 100 backstroke in the CIF finals and is a previous Athlete of the Week and Athlete of the Month.

Each athlete received a certificate from Menifee 24/7 and a gift card from RE/MAX Diamond Realty, the sponsor of the award.

This completes the Menifee 24/7 athlete awards program for this school year. We wish to congratulate all the athletes who were honored.
