Teenager Accidentally Shoots, Kills 9-Year-Old Brother

A 14-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his 9-year-old brother this afternoon in Perris, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.

Deputies responded at 12:10 p.m. to a location in the 140 block of Metz Road. Officers determined that the shooting was an accident. Paramedics pronounced the 9-year-old dead at the scene. The Perris Police Department Investigations Bureau has assumed control of the investigation.
