Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Paloma Valley High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Paloma Valley High School Athletes of the Week:

Boys volleyball standout Thomas Stancyk was honored for the second consecutive week. He led the Wildcats with 19 blocks in CIF playoff matches last week to lead the team into tonight's semifinal match at home against El Segundo.

Just a sophomore, Damatria Willingham of the girls track team qualified to compete in three events last weekend at the CIF prelims.
