Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After April 4 Accident

A motorcyclist remains in critical condition at a local hospital after a collision with a Dodge Charger April 4 in Menifee, authorities said today.

According to a news release, the accident victim is a 28-year-old male from Menifee. His name has not been released. Police determined the motorcycle broadsided the other vehicle in the 31000 block of Antelope Road about 9:30 p.m. on April 4.

The driver of the Dodge, a 25-year-old male resident of Menifee, remained at the scene and waited for emergency personnel to arrive. The Menifee Traffic Reconstruction Unit responded to the location and conducted a traffic collision investigation. The roadway was temporarily closed and re-opened at 2:30 a.m.
