Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: April 29

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High School Athletes of the Week:

Pitcher Adrian Gonzalez threw a no-hitter for the Patriots baseball team in a 4-0 win over Perris April 21. He is 4-0 with a 1.01 record this season.

Briya Williams ran a time of 1:03 in the 400 meters at the Inland Empire Championships last weekend. That was two seconds faster than her best time.

Chris Perez has performed consistently for the boys swimming team, which is in just its second varsity season.
