Spring Fest Offers Fun Activities for Children, Families

The City of Menifee will sponsor a fun-filled day for children and families this Saturday, March 28, with a Spring Fest celebration at La Ladera Park, 29629 La Ladera Road. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will include inflatable jumpers, games and crafts for children with the purchase of a $3 Spring Fest event wristband. Children may also enjoy a free visit with the Easter Bunny. Parents should bring their own cameras to capture the moment. Food and crafts will be available from a variety of vendors.

Free potted tree saplings for planting at home will be offered to the first 300 people who stop by the City of Menifee booth. This is part of a "Meni-Trees: Leafing the Way" project, sponsored by a Cal Fire grant.
