Applications will be accepted March 2-16 for the vacant position on the Mt. San Jacinto College Board of Trustees.
At its Feb. 26 meeting, the board established the selection process to make an appointment rather than call for a special election to replace Eugene Kadow, who resigned in January.
Applications will be available beginning at 8 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. at the San Jacinto Campus, Superintendent/President’s Office, Room 204, 1499 N. State Street, San Jacinto. Information can be found on the District web site under "Notice of Board of Trustees Vacancy." Questions and/or comments should be directed to Kathy Donnell, Superintendent/President’s Office, at 951-487-3002 or by email to kdonnell@mscj.edu.
Interviews will be conducted at a public meeting to be held at 3:30 p.m. on March 26 at the San Jacinto Campus. At that time, the public will have the opportunity to comment. The board may select the appointee by a majority vote.
