Tyson's Story: Tyson was given up by his owner who was moving and could no longer keep him. Tyson is a gorgeous American Bulldog pup who weighs about 60 pounds and is growing. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. He is house trained and crate trained. Tyson is a great young dog, very loving and eager to please. He’s a lovebug and loves people. He knows to sit, play fetch and is good on walks. Tyson is learning social skills around other dogs, and at this time should be the only dog in the household. He’s looking for an owner with solid knowledge and experience of powerful bully breeds.

Agency: Rescue and Rehome, Inc., a small private no-kill 501(c )3 nonprofit rescue.

Adoption details: Adoption fee $200, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of rescue and rehabilitation. Adoption contract required.

Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. Local adoptions only; within a 75 mile radius because the rescue delivers the animal to its new home to do a home check. The rescue is looking for adopters who are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to the care of this dog.
