Lance Kreutzer and Jordan Hill from Menifee Troop 485 received their Eagle rank from the Boy Scouts of America during a ceremony held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Feb. 7.
With the help of his dad, Valgene, Lance Kreutzer built two bookcases for the members of the Sun City Concern senior organization. Lance also coordinated a DVD/VHS and book drive at his high school. Peers from Paloma Valley High School donated 250 books and 450 movies to occupy the two custom made bookcases.
Jordan, along with the help of 20 friends and family members, painted a 40-foot map of the United States in an outside courtyard located at Chester Morrison Elementary School. Paint and supplies were donated by the school and over 120 hours were donated to complete his project.
