Heritage High School Athletes of the Week: Feb. 2

Each week, Menifee 24/7 honors top student-athletes at Heritage High School. The coach of each varsity sport is allowed to select one athlete based on the previous week's performances or on potential shown by the athlete. Here are this week's Heritage High School Athletes of the Week:

Betssy Gonzalez has scored 18 goals to lead the girls soccer team, which is battling for a CIF playoff berth.

Junior guard Logan Dreese is one of the key players for the Patriots boys basketball team.

Sophomore Mark Lopez is a defensive standout for the boys soccer team. He has a bright future in his final two years with the Patriots.

Ezrael Lopez placed fourth in the Sunbelt League wrestling finals last week and will be an alternate in the upcoming CIF meet.

These athletes will be eligible for selection as Heritage High School's Athletes of the Month, which will be announced next week.
