Vince Lombardi Comes Back to Life in One-Man Show

Legendary NFL coach Vince Lombardi comes back to life, in a one-man play called "Vince: The Life and Times of Vince Lombardi."

On Jan. 4, actor John Pinero will become former Green Bay Packers' coach, Vince Lombardi, at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. Pinero's portrayal of Lombardi will cover leadership, motivation, courage, stamina, and coordinated efficiency. These attributes go far beyond sports and can be seen in the everyday world.

Pinero's portrayal of Lombardi has received praise from former players of Lombardi's including Bart Starr, Willie Davis, Fuzzy Thurston, and Jerry Kramer. Even ABC television hired Pinero to play the Hall of Fame Coach for the 2006 pre-game Super Bowl show.

The show will begin at 2 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at www.temeculatheater.org. Tickets will be $20 for the orchestra section, $15 for the parterre section, and $10 for the balcony.
