Rev. Riedy Retires From Position at Church of Christ

Rev. Alicia Riedy, who has been in charge of pastoral care at Menifee United Church of Christ for three years, has retired.

Rev. Alicia, as she is known to the people at Menifee UCC, decided to retire so she and husband Paul can spend more time with their children, scattered across the country.

"I hate to see her leave, said Senior Minister Bill Freeman. "The good news is she will remain a member of our church and anytime she is in town and wants to come back to preach or teach, she would be welcomed by me and by our congregation."

Riedy, who was responsible for visiting the church’s elderly shut-ins, also oversaw the start a year ago of Menifee UCC’s free breakfast program for people in need, which happens the fourth Saturday of the month. Menifee UCC is located at 26701 McCall Blvd. in Menifee.
