Relay for Life Kickoff Party Set for Jan. 10 at U.S. Bank

A kickoff and registration event will be held this Saturday, Jan. 10, in preparation for the Menifee Relay for Life this spring.

Past participants and anyone interested in learning more about Relay for Life are invited to attend the kickoff event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank, 27378 Sun City Blvd. in the Sun City community of Menifee. Dinner will be served to the guests at 6 p.m.

Relay for Life is a 24-hour event in which teams of participants walk or run around a track and participate in other activities to raise funds to fight cancer through the American Cancer Society. This year's event will be held May 16 at Paloma Valley High School.

All participants on Saturday get a free raffle ticket. Guests will be voting on the theme for this year's event.
