Police: Menifee, Murrieta Crimes May be Related

The Murrieta Police Department has released a wanted poster regarding the suspect in two recent Murrieta robberies who might be connected to a Jan. 9 robbery in Menifee.

Details were not previously released on the Menifee robbery, in which a man robbed a store employee at gunpoint at the Sherwin-Williams paint store at the corner of Newport Road and Bradley Road about 6:15 p.m. Jan. 9. The suspect was seen entering a '90s Honda van and is still at large.

Police say the circumstances are similar to robberies at a Taco Bell restaurant and Chevron station in Murrieta.
