Final sign-ups for the spring season of Menifee Valley Little League will take place the next two Saturdays, Jan. 24 and 31. Player tryouts and evaluations will be held during the sign-up sessions.
The Jan. 24 session will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Audie Murphy Sports Park on Newport Road. The Jan. 31 session will take place during the same hours at Wheatfield Park field No. 4.
Registration fees are $100 for ages 4-7; $130 for ages 8-12; $150 for ages 13 and up. Everyone who signs up will be placed on a team. Only players ages 8 and up need to be evaluated.
A new "bigs" division will allow players ages 15-18 to compete against teams from surrounding cities. There is also a Challengers division for youth ages 4-22 who have special needs and want to play baseball.
The league will hold a fundraiser at the Chipotle restaurant in Countryside Marketplace Feb. 10 from 5-8 p.m.
