Longtime board member Eugene Kadow announced this week that he will resign his seat on the Mt. San Jacinto College Board of Trustees effective Jan. 31.
Kadow read his letter of resignation during a Jan. 29 meeting on the Menifee Valley Campus, saying "it is time to move on." He was first elected to the MSJC board in 1995.
A Banning resident, Kadow served Trustee Area 1, which includes the San Gorgonio Pass area and parts of Temecula. His term would've ended in 2016. At a future meeting, the board will consider options for filling the seat.
Kadow served numerous terms as board president and was a founding member and chair of the Inland Valley Trustees Association.
