History Meeting to Discuss 1890 Menifee School Building

A presentation on the history of the old Menifee School building will be given Saturday at 9:30 a.m. during the regular meeting of the Menifee Valley Historical Association.

The meeting will take place at the Antelope-Menifee Rural Center, 31850 Haun Road. Visitors are invited to attend and learn about the history of Menifee.

The Menifee School building was built in 1890 on the southwest corner of Newport Road and Bradley Road, where an Arco gas station now sits. The presentation will include photos and information about the building, the students who attended and some artifacts.
