Portrait Series by Artist Carol J. South on Exhibit

The portrait series, "Faces of the World, Part 2", by the award-winning artist, Carol J. South, will on exhibit at the Grace Mellman Library.

South create the Part 2 series using oils, watercolor, or mixed media. A notable piece in the collection includes a portrait called "Malala", a tribute to the youngest Nobel Peace Price recipient. Other portraits depict people from the southwest United States, India, Australia, the Arabian Peninsula, and the North Pole.

South, is a Menifee resident, is Vice President of the Arts Council Menifee, a member of the Fallbrook Art Association, Fallbrok Artists Guild, and Oasis Fine Arts Group.

The series will be on exhibit until Jan. 8.
