Police Conducted DUI Saturation Patrol on Friday Night

Officers of the Menifee Police Department's DUI Enforcement Team released the results of a DUI saturation patrol they conducted.

On Dec. 19, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., the DUI saturation patrol, monitored the streets of Menifee, in areas that have high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests.

Their results included 15 vehicles stopped, 10 drivers being given standardized field sobriety tests, one driver arrested for DUI of alcohol, one driver arrested and cited for driving with a suspended license, and one vehicle being towed.

The Menifee Police Department plans on continuing to conduct DUI checkpoints and DUI saturation patrols in an ongoing effort to deter drunk and/or drugged driving, to keep the streets of Menifee safe.
