Robert O'Donnell was selected as president of the Menifee Union School District Board during its annual reorganization of elected officers at its regular meeting on Tuesday.
O'Donnell, a longtime resident of Menifee and former Postmaster of the Sun City Post Office, has served on the school board for more than two decades. He also served as the grand marshal for the city's Independence Day parade and was given a "Service Above Self" award by the Rotary Club of Menifee at the Mayor's Ball in October (above).
Other board members for the coming year are Jerry Bowman, vice president; Reg Bennett, board clerk; Dr. Randy Freeman; and outgoing President Ron Ulibarri, who was elected as the Board's representative to the School District Organizational Committee.
