Menifee Police Searching for Burglary Suspect

Menifee police are searching for a man who entered a Menifee home with a handgun Tuesday night and stole items from the house while a resident was inside.

According to police, the crime occurred in the area of Columbus and Waverly Drives in Menifee. The victim called 911 around 5 p.m. to report that while she was home, a suspect with a handgun entered her residence. She was able to escape unharmed, but the suspect stole items from inside.

Officers searched the area for the suspect, but he had already fled by the time officers arrived. He was described as a male with a dark complexion, about 5-foot-5 tall.
