Advertorial Supplement:
The chronic low back pain study Elite Clinical Trials is currently working on is an analgesic with naproxen as positive control medication. The analgesic with naproxen is a tablet drug.
This study also provides Acetaminophen as a rescue medication.
The purpose of this study is comparing the safety of analgesic with naproxen medication compared with placebo in the treatment of chronic low back pain.
The study is looking for patients who have had chronic low back pain for at least 3 months, requiring a regular use of analgesic and are at least 18 to 75 years of age.
The study is 12 weeks long with a 1 out of 3 chance of placebo.
"Our current patients have really enjoyed participating in this study because of the weekly visits and the one on one contact with the staff during their time in the study," says Kim Forrester, Clinical Research Coordinator.
Health insurance is not required for any Elite Clinical Trials study and the prescribed study drugs are free of charge for volunteers.
Patients qualified to volunteer in Elite Clinical Trials studies are also compensated for both their time and travel as it relates to the study.
