Two Trucks Collide Head-on in Major Injury Accident

Two trucks were involved in a major injury collision at the 25600 block on Bundy Canyon Road.

On the night of Oct. 30, a white Ford F-350 was recklessly driving eastbound, on the Bundy Canyon westbound lane, according the Menifee Police Department. A white Ford F-250, which was lawfully driving westbound, was struck head-on by the reckless driver.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and transported both sole occupants of the vehicles to a local hospital.

Debris littered both lanes and authorities closed a portion of Bundy Canyon Road down between Murrieta Road and Wright Road for nearly three hours.

According to the police report, Menifee Police believe drugs may have been a factor to this collision and the investigation is currently ongoing.
