Lake Elsinore Genealogical Society Meets This Thursday

The Lake Elsinore Genealogical Society (LEGS) is hosting an event with speaker Wayne Anderson of North San Diego County Genealogy Society and The Temecula Valley Genealogy Society.

The topic for this event will be "What I learned on the way to prove something that wasn't true".

Many people have wondered how accurate their family trees are, especially when pertaining to distant relatives. Anderson's presentation will use case studies that deal with getting beyond a brick wall and illustrate process and methodology in attempt to prove the conclusion with sound genealogical research principles.

The event will take place Nov. 13, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Mission Trail Community Library in Wildomar. It is free to attend and LEGS members will help you start your research into your family history. Bring family information along with you and they will be able to add to what you know by the next meeting, free of charge.
