Kristjansson Receives Endorsement From Melendez

Sue Kristjansson, candidate for Menifee City Council in District 2, received an endorsement this week from Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez.

"I am proud to endorse Sue Kristjansson's campaign for City Council," Melendez said about Kristjansson (left). "Sue is a budget hawk, with laser-like focus when it comes to protecting local taxpayer money, while ensuring we have safe neighborhoods to live in."

In addition to Kristjansson's work as a staunch public safety and pro-business advocate in her previous term on the Menifee City Council, Melendez pointed to improvements to local infrastructure such as the Newport Overpass Project and promotion of Economic Development Corridors that bring good jobs to Menifee.

"As a former Councilwoman, mother of five enrolled in local schools, taxpayer, and as the Representative for Menifee in the State Assembly, I am proud to support Sue Kristjansson for Menifee City Council," she said.

Melendez represents the 67th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Murrieta, Menifee, Wildomar and a portion of Hemet.

The city elections are this Tuesday, Nov. 4.
